Insurance Restoration & Storm Damage Repair in Georgia
Hail, wind, hurricane, falling tree — whatever hit, we handle the inspection, the insurance carrier, and the repairs so you get back to normal without chasing paperwork.
Integrity CRR is a service-disabled veteran-owned general contractor in Atlanta, Georgia that handles residential and commercial insurance restoration from the first inspection through the claim to the finished repair. That means Haag-certified hail and wind inspections, documentation written the way an adjuster needs it, meeting the adjuster on site, supplementing the claim when the approved scope comes up short, and then running the repair as the general contractor.
We hold Georgia General Contractor license #GCCO009212 and Florida Certified General Contractor license #CGC1539499, and we are GAF and Mule-Hide certified. We work across metro Atlanta, North Atlanta, and North Georgia — including Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Forsyth, Hall, Bartow, Dawson, and Pickens counties — as well as Florida. For an active leak or storm damage, call (833) 423-6255.
What Should I Do After Hail Damages My Roof?
Get the roof inspected before you file. A Haag-certified inspection tells you whether there is claim-worthy damage and puts it on paper first, so you file with evidence instead of filing blind. Hail rarely punches a visible hole in a shingle roof — it bruises the mat and knocks off granules, and that damage is hard to see from the ground and easy for a carrier to write off as normal wear.
The difference between an approved claim and a denied one is usually the documentation. Storm chasers knock on doors after every event offering "free roofs," send unqualified inspectors, and disappear when the carrier pushes back. Before you sign anything, ask for the contractor's state license number and check it.
The roofing work is ours. We self-perform roofing with our own crews, and the estimate is written in-house by a Haag Certified Reviewer rather than handed to an outside estimator — so the person scoping the damage for your carrier and the people on the roof answer to the same contractor. On the trades outside roofing that a storm claim can pull in, we act as the general contractor and manage subs we have worked with before. Either way the claim and the repair stay with one accountable contractor instead of being handed off to a vendor you have never met.
We Write the Estimate in the Same Software Your Insurance Company Uses
Nearly every property insurance carrier in the country prices claims in Xactimate. It is the software your adjuster opens to write the scope and set the numbers your settlement is based on. Most contractors do not work in it — they write their own estimate in their own format, hand it to the carrier, and hope the two line up.
We hold the highest level of Haag Certified Reviewer, which requires Xactimate certification, so we write the scope in Xactimate line by line — the same platform, the same line items, the same pricing database the adjuster is working from. When the carrier's estimate is short, we can put the two side by side and show exactly which line items are missing or underpriced rather than arguing about it in general terms.
That is the whole point of the certification. It is much harder for a carrier to dismiss a scope written in its own system by someone trained to the same forensic standard its adjusters are. It does not change what your policy covers — no contractor can do that — but it does mean the covered damage gets documented, priced, and put in front of the carrier in the format it has to answer.
Our Guarantee on an Approved Claim
Once your claim is approved, we guarantee you get the full value of it. Our in-house Xactimate staff writes every item of justified, claimable damage into the scope — including the line items carriers routinely miss or leave off, like code-required upgrades, detached structures, and the labor and materials that only show up once the roof is opened. If the approved estimate is short, we document the gap and pursue the supplement.
Nothing you are entitled to gets left on the table because the estimate missed it. That is the part we control, and it is the part we put our name on.
And because we also hold the Georgia GC license (#GCCO009212) and Florida CGC (#CGC1539499), the same company that wrote the estimate builds the repair. You are not hiring an estimator, then a public adjuster, then a contractor, and hoping the three agree.
Our Process
How Does the Insurance Claim Process Work?
Four steps, start to finish. Inspection, documentation and adjuster meeting, approved repair, final walk-through.
Free Damage Inspection
We come out, take photos, climb the roof, document every angle. Haag-certified inspectors so the report holds up with your carrier.
Insurance Coordination
We meet your adjuster on-site, walk the damage together, and submit the scope and documentation that matches what the carrier needs to approve.
Repairs Done Right
The approved scope stays with the same contractor — no handoff to a 'preferred vendor' you've never met. Roofing is self-performed by our own crews. We pull permits, run any other trades the scope needs, and close the punch list.
Final Walk-Through
We don't disappear after the check clears. Final inspection together, paperwork closed out, manufacturer warranty registered in your name.
What We Handle
What Kinds of Storm Damage Does Insurance Cover?
Sudden, storm-caused damage is what a homeowner or commercial property policy is written to cover. Gradual wear is not — which is why the inspection has to establish that a storm caused it, and when.
Hail Damage
Hail bruising, granule loss, shingle fractures — the kinds of damage carriers often miss without a trained eye.
Wind Damage
Lifted shingles, exposed underlayment, ripped flashing. Documented per ASTM standards.
Hurricane & Tropical
Active in Florida and coastal Georgia. Full-scope post-storm recovery: roof, siding, windows, interior.
Tree & Falling Debris
Emergency tarping, structural assessment, full repair from roof deck through finishes.
Water Intrusion
Leak source diagnosis, interior drying coordination, finish repair so the damage doesn't come back.
Commercial Storm
Storm-damaged commercial properties — single-ply repair, full re-cover, structural envelope.
Where We Work
Where Do You Handle Storm and Hail Claims in Georgia?
Across metro Atlanta, North Atlanta, and North Georgia. The GA-400 and I-575 corridors — Fulton, Cherokee, Forsyth, Dawson, Pickens, and Gilmer counties — take the most hail in the state, and storms come over the ridge there before they reach the metro. Our office is on Chamblee Dunwoody Road in Atlanta, so most of these markets are inside an hour.
Insurance Restoration FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
My roof was damaged by hail. Who do I call first?
Call a licensed contractor for an inspection before you call your insurance company. A Haag-certified inspector can tell you whether the damage is claim-worthy and document it properly, so you file with evidence instead of filing blind and risking a denial on your record. Integrity CRR inspects storm damage across metro Atlanta and North Georgia at (833) 423-6255.
Are you an insurance claim specialist?
That is the part of the work we specialize in: documenting, scoping, and pricing storm damage for an insurance claim. Our inspectors are Haag certified, we hold the Haag Certified Reviewer credential, and we write the estimate in Xactimate — the same platform your carrier prices the claim in. Understand what a roofing insurance claim specialist is in Georgia, though: a contractor, not a claims representative. Under O.C.G.A. § 10-1-393.12 only a licensed public adjuster may represent or negotiate a residential roof claim on an owner's behalf. We document the damage, write the scope, meet the adjuster on site, and supplement what the approved estimate misses. If your claim needs representation rather than documentation, we will tell you that instead of taking the job.
Do I have to use the contractor my insurance company recommends?
No. In Georgia you have the right to choose your own licensed contractor. Carrier 'preferred vendor' or managed-repair programs are a convenience the insurer offers, not a requirement, and the contractor in those programs is working under an agreement with the carrier. You can hire any licensed contractor you want and the claim is still paid.
How long do I have to file a roof damage claim in Georgia?
Most Georgia homeowner policies require prompt notice after a loss and set a contractual deadline for filing and for bringing suit — commonly one to two years from the date of damage. The exact window is in your policy under Duties After Loss. Don't wait on it: the longer the gap between the storm and the inspection, the easier it is for a carrier to argue the damage came from wear rather than the storm.
What if my insurance denies my roof claim?
A denial is not the end of the claim. Most denials come down to documentation — the adjuster didn't see the damage, or what was submitted didn't establish that a storm caused it. A Haag-certified re-inspection with photographs, measurements, and a written scope can be submitted to the carrier for reconsideration. If a claim is genuinely underpaid rather than under-documented, a licensed public adjuster is the right next step and we will tell you so.
Will I get the full value of my claim?
Once the claim is approved, yes — that is what we guarantee. Our in-house Xactimate staff writes every item of justified, claimable damage into the scope, including the line items carriers routinely miss or leave off: code-required upgrades, detached structures, and the labor and materials that only surface once the roof is opened up. If the approved estimate comes back short, we document the gap and pursue the supplement. What your policy covers is between you and your carrier — but nothing you are entitled to gets left on the table because the estimate missed it.
Do you write estimates in Xactimate?
Yes. Xactimate is the estimating platform nearly every insurance carrier uses to price property claims, and we hold the highest level of Haag Certified Reviewer, which requires Xactimate certification. We write the scope in Xactimate line by line, so it can be compared directly against the adjuster's estimate instead of being argued about in general terms. Most contractors submit their own format and hope it lines up.
Why does it matter that my contractor is Xactimate certified?
Because it is the language the claim is actually settled in. When a contractor writes in a different format, any gap between their scope and the carrier's becomes a debate. When the scope is written in Xactimate with the same line items and pricing database the adjuster is using, a missing or underpriced line is a specific, checkable item. It does not change what your policy covers, but it does mean the covered damage gets documented and priced in the format the carrier has to respond to.
The adjuster's estimate came in too low. Can that be fixed?
Yes, through a supplement. When the approved scope misses damage or leaves out code-required work, the contractor documents the gap and submits a supplement request with the additional scope and cost. This is normal on hail and wind claims — the first scope is written from one visit, and it routinely misses things that only show up when the roof is opened up.
How quickly can you respond after a storm?
Typically within 48 hours for inspection and emergency mitigation (tarping, board-up). Storm season we shift staffing to respond faster. Call (833) 423-6255 for active emergency.
Do you work with my insurance company directly?
Yes. We meet your adjuster on-site, walk the damage together, and submit documentation in the format carriers expect, so you are not the one chasing paperwork between the carrier and the contractor.
What is a Haag-certified roof inspection, and why does it matter?
Haag Engineering is the forensic standard for roof damage assessment in the insurance industry. A Haag-certified inspector documents damage in a way carriers can't easily dispute — significantly improving claim approval rates and full-scope payment.
Do you provide emergency tarping after a storm?
Yes. Emergency tarping and board-up are part of storm response. We stabilize first, document damage, then sequence the permanent repair scope through the insurance process.
What kinds of damage do you handle?
Hail bruising and granule loss, wind-lifted shingles and torn flashing, hurricane and tropical damage (full envelope), falling tree and debris, water intrusion, and commercial single-ply storm damage. Roof through interior finishes.
Should I be wary of door-to-door storm chasers?
Yes. Storm chasers typically arrive after a major storm, knock on doors offering 'free roofs,' send unqualified inspectors, take deposits, and disappear when the carrier pushes back. Verify any contractor's state license number and certifications before signing.
Got Storm Damage?
We'll inspect within 48 hours. No commitment, no pressure — just a real assessment so you know what you're dealing with before you file.
